   Meliá Azul Ixtapa is one of the finest resorts in Sol Meliá's Mexico Collection. This resort is nestled between a deep green hillside and the beautiful Pacific Ocean. Many guestrooms enjoy fantastic views of the ocean with impressive rock formations out in the bay. Take a romantic stroll on the boardwalk leading out to the Oyster Bar restaurant, constructed on solid stilts above the ocean along a cliff-side. The kids will love the on-site water park with small waterslides and fountains, and adults can enjoy one of Mexico's most famous golf destinations. The more adventurous can sign up for one of many eco-tours offered by local guides. We are also proud to announce the completion of our new tower with 138 luxury ocean view rooms, and the largest Convention Center in the Mexican Pacific with a capacity for over 2,300 people, now part of Meliá Azul Ixtapa.

Meliá Azul Ixtapa recently opened its brand new tower and has 410 Ocean View rooms, including 48 Master Suites (with 2 bedrooms) and 3 Presidential Suites. Non-smoking rooms and accommodations for the physically challenged are available upon request. All rooms are equipped with individual climate control, safe deposit box, hair dryer, upgraded bath products, satellite color television, direct dial international access telephones and internet connection.

One of Meliá Azul Ixtapa's fine dining options, enjoy a romantic atmosphere and taste some of the finest Mediterranean cuisine prepared by our very own chef.

Oyster Bar - 18:00 -23:00, Reservations Required, Smart Casual
Enjoy a beautiful sunset view from the Oyster Bar. Walk out onto the boardwalk which leads to the oyster bar, built right along the ocean's edge. This restaurant is always voted the most romantic spot at the resort.

Colores Cafeteria - 07.00-12.00, 12.00-23.00
A casual buffet restaurant where you can taste different dishes each day.

Terraza - 07.00-23.00
For those with a larger appetite, visit the Terraza buffet restaurant. Enjoy an endless selection of fabulous food with a great view of the pools and the ocean.


Lounge/Bars:
El Palmar - Our Lobby Bar, ideal for enjoying the beautiful sunsets of Ixtapa. Enjoy a signature Blue Margarita while listening to live music.

Bar Humedo - The wet bar, located in the lower swimming pool.

Bar Arrecife - Located near the lower and upper swimming pools, one of many places at the resort to enjoy an exotic cocktail.

Bar Piscina - One of the bars located just by the pool area. Enjoy your favorite cocktail, or let our bartenders mix you a local brew.
