Capella Pedregal - The Diaz Rivera
family, one of Mexico’s foremost developers, has reserved its most
coveted parcel of land – an extraordinary, 24-acre site at the
southernmost tip of Mexico’s Baja California Peninsula – for a resort of
unprecedented luxury. Opening July 2009, Capella Pedregal will encompass
24 spectacular mountainside and oceanfront acres at the very point where
the Pacific Ocean meets the Sea of Cortez, near the legendary rock
formations known as Land’s End. The development is reached via the only
privately-owned tunnel in Mexico. Carved through the heart of the
mountainside, it is a 300-meter-long engineering feat that separates the
town of Cabo from the Pacific Ocean. This incredibly dramatic entrance
to Capella deposits visitors at what will be Capella Pedregal’s entrance
courtyard overlooking a long expanse of beach and the ocean. It leaves
no question but that they have entered a world apart. The 66-room
Capella Resort and Spa will be the only luxury hotel and residence
resort with immediate proximity to the world-class Cabo Marina. Guests
and residents who want to experience true “Cabo culture” will find the
vibrant shops, dining and entertainment of Cabo San Lucas village all
within easy reach by foot, bike, personal auto or resort valet.
Ocean View Rooms - These offer custom-made light fixtures,
furniture and artwork, one king bed with and a private terrace with its
own plunge pool. Rooms are a comfortable 820 square feet with a fire
place, pinewood armoires and amenities such LCD television, wireless
internet access, telescope, soft drink refreshment centre, iron, ironing
board, clock radio and in room safe.
Deluxe Ocean View Room - These spacious and comfortable rooms are
up to 861 square feet with custom made light fixtures, furniture and
artwork, a fireplace and bright pinewood armoires. The Deluxe Room
offers one king size with access to a private terrace and a plunge pool
with infinity edge. Amenities include LCD televisions with cable
channels, wireless internet access, telescope, soft drink refreshment
centre, iron, ironing board, clock radio and in room safe.
Capella Room - The Capella rooms range from 1410 to 1475 square feet
with access through a sliding wood and glass door to a private outdoor
terrace with an infinity edge plunge pool and beautiful ocean views.
This suite offers a one king size bed, comfortable chairs and a relaxing
fire place. Amenities include an iron, ironing board, clock radio, hair
dryer, in room safe, LCD television, telescope and a soft drink
refreshment centre. Each room offers cable television and high speed
internet access.
Don Manuel’s - Signature restaurant located
in the heart of the resort offering contemporary Mexican Cuisine.
El Farallon – Dramatic, alfresco setting overlooking the ocean
serving fish specialties and lighter fare.
The Beach Club – Featuring coastal grill cuisine served beach-
