   Maroma Resort & Spa is a adults only luxury resort in the tradition of the Mexican hospitality, where personal service, warmth and privacy are unsurpassed. In its main entrance you will find the open-air reception "palapa", with its inlaid stonework and Bertrand Castelli painting; beyond it, there is a freshwater swimming pool with a stone fountain nestled amid banana trees and flowering plants. From the pool area, guests are led through a passageway to another building, with overstuffed upholstered chairs and curving staircases that lead to several guestrooms. A labyrinth of paths bordered with clipped hedges and terracotta pots leads guests beneath lush palms, with an abundance of jungle flowers in every possible color, and trees that shelter bright-colored butterflies and exotic green parrots.

   Rooms glow with mahogany and bamboo-filtered light. A rainbow hammock beckons from the open-air terrace. Hand-painted tiles, soft wool rugs, original art and furniture from our own workshops make each room unique. King-size beds and luxury baths with sunken tubs provide delicious comfort just steps away from the sparkling beach.

Rooms

All our rooms feature Mexican details such as stucco finishes, carved niches, hand-hewn beams and extensive wood and ironwork. Our rooms offer original artwork, hand-loomed bedding and rugs, terraces adorned with hammocks, bamboo shutters and CD players.

Double Garden: Lush tropical foliage surrounds these cool and shaded rooms that overlook the sparkling swimming pool. Features standard amenities including air conditioning in the bedroom, kaftans, hairdryer, exclusive bath amenities, umbrella and aromatherapy set.

Double Ocean View: All guestrooms feature standard amenities including air conditioning in the bedroom, kaftans, hairdryer, exclusive bath amenities, umbrella and aromatherapy set.

Double Premium: All guestrooms feature standard amenities including air conditioning in the bedroom, kaftans, hairdryer, exclusive bath amenities, umbrella and aromatherapy set.

Double Junior Suite: Two terraces surround the suite--one thatched-roof terrace furnished as an outdoor living room and the other terrace is open to the sun with panoramic views of the estate and bay.

El Sol Restaurant - Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner, Daily 7 AM to 11 PM - Innovative Mexican Cuisine
Guest enjoys delicacies of fresh seafood and regional Yucatan dishes. Meals artfully presented and served on an open-air terrace overlooking the ocean Dining features gourmet cuisine by candlelight, background music performed by live musicians. The wine cellar boasts a large choice of the finest wine in the world. Gentlemen are required to wear slacks and collared shirts. Ladies will feel comfortable in resort wear--dresses, skirts or evening slacks.

Beach Bar - Cocktails and Drinks, Daily 10 AM to 5 PM - Casual Fare
Beverage service is available on the beach from 10 AM to 5 PM. Light meals available at the beach bar from 11:30 AM to 5 PM. Lobster BBQ Wednesday and Saturday (subject to change).

Maroma Bar - Cocktails and Drinks, Daily 5 PM to 11 PM - Domestic and Imported Drinks
The bar is located in the main building and is open daily from 5 PM to 11 PM. We respectfully request the cooperation of our guests in maintaining the ambiance of gracious informality for which the Caribbean is known. In public areas, during the day, shorts or a dry bathing suit with a beach wrap or cover-up are perfectly acceptable. After sunset, swimwear is not permitted in the Main Building.
