   The Riu Palace Mexico is a modern five-star all inclusive hotel situated next to a beautiful beach of white sand in the Playacar section of Playa del Carmen. It is part of an elegant development which includes a modern 18-hole championship golf course and is located near the famous "Calle Mejicana" or "Mexican Street" which features a variety of boutiques for your shopping pleasure. In addition, there are several restaurants and bars located within the complex offering a variety of choices for your dining pleasure.
   Your all inclusive privileges include all meals and beverages, nightly live entertainment, daily activities poolside for adults and children plus the use of the gym, Jacuzzi, two hard surface tennis courts, table tennis, volleyball, trial scuba diving in the pool, kayaks, snorkeling, windsurfing and sailing. Also available for an additional charge is water skiing, banana boats, jet skis, scuba diving and massage.

Rooms

The Riu Palace, situated directly on the shady palm grove and white sand beaches of the luxurious development of Playacar, is designed as a typical aristocratic Mexican "hacienda" and features 434 rooms distributed in one three-story building.


Standard Rooms - All guestrooms feature two double beds, air conditioning and ceiling fan, color TV via Satellite, telephone, safe deposit box, private bath with tub and shower as well as hairdryer, stocked mini-bar and balcony or terrace.


Jr. Suites - Suites feature all of the Standard room amenities (two double beds, air conditioning and ceiling fan, color TV via Satellite, telephone, safe deposit box, private bath with hairdryer, stocked mini-bar and balcony or terrace) plus changing area and bidet.

Dining

Don Julian - Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner, 7 to 10:30 am, 1 to 3 pm, 6:30 to 10 pm - International Cuisine
The main restaurant featuring air conditioning and a non-smoking area serves a wide variety of International and local specialties buffet style. Breakfast served 7 am to 10:30 am, lunch served 1 pm to 3 pm, and there are two dinner seating's at 6:30 pm and 8:30 pm. Dress code for dinner requires long pants.


El Patio - Breakfast, Lunch & Snacks, Daily 10:30 am to 11 pm - Mexican Cuisine
Serves Mexican cuisine on the beach. Serves Continental breakfast daily 10:30 am to 12 noon, lunch from 12 noon to 3 pm, snacks from 3 pm to 6 pm and late night snacks from 10 pm to 11 pm.


La Traviata - Breakfast, Lunch & Snacks, Daily 10:30 am to 11 pm - Italian Cuisine
Serves Italian cuisine on the beach. Serves Continental breakfast daily 10:30 am to 12 noon, lunch from 12 noon to 3 pm, snacks from 3 pm to 6 pm and late night snacks from 10 pm to 11 pm.

Rodizio Brasileño-La Bodega - Dinner, Daily 6:30 pm to 10:00 pm - Steak House
An air conditioned indoor specialty restaurant featuring two dinner seating's at 6:30 pm and 8:30 pm. Reservations required.

Bars:
