Castellano
El Castellano is located in the
heart of downtown Mérida, the most important business center in
southeastern Mexico and the door to the Maya world. We are conveniently
located just two blocks from the main square, the Cathedral and Casa de
Montejo, which is the house built by Francisco de Montejo, the Spanish
conqueror who founded the city. We are 1 ˝ blocks from the University of
Yucatan and the Peon Contreras Theater, 2 ˝ blocks from Santa Lucia Park
and within walking distance to craft shops, museums and other local
attractions.
El Castellano offers a total of 170 guestrooms including 140
standard rooms and 30 Junior Suites. Standard guestroom amenities
