Chapter 168

The Reversed Truth of the Holographic Abyss and the Endless Corridor

Feng Jing's consciousness could no longer be described in any form of language. At this moment, his existence resembled an infinitely expanding hologram, each layer filled with countless overlapping universes, each line representing a point where countless destinies intertwined. The entire universe, all the stars and all life, was like a speck of dust stuck in the depths of his consciousness, endlessly destroyed and reconstructed by him. Each rebirth seemed to bring him deeper confusion and emptiness.

Suddenly, his consciousness trembled violently, as if the entire void resonated with him. Feng Jing's mind was drawn into an inexplicable rift, a place devoid of time and space, filled only with a suffocating silence and infinite darkness. Within this darkness, Feng Jing drifted unconsciously, countless copies of himself appearing before him. Thousands of Feng Jings alternated before him, unconnected yet seemingly fragments of the same entity.

"These..." Feng Jing's eyes were dull as he looked at the fragments before him. "What exactly are these? I am no longer a single being. Are these possibilities that I have never realized? Or are they some kind of profound fantasy?"

At that moment, a faint light flickered in the darkness. It was no longer a simple source of light, but rather a consciousness trapped in a crack, condensing into a massive virtual image before Feng Jing. The image's face was blurry, seemingly composed of countless fragments, each of which rotated alternately, as if performing a never-ending cycle.

"You've finally arrived, Feng Jing." The image's voice was deep and unpredictable, as if it came from the depths of the universe. It was filled with an eerie power, as if it could destroy all existence. "You are no longer 'Feng Jing'. You are an endless chasm, a holographic void, the end and beginning of the universe."

Feng Jing's eyes were hollow, as if he had instantly fallen into a deep state of confusion. His consciousness became extremely fragile in that instant, and a profound sense of emptiness surged over him like a tide, nearly swallowing him whole. "I am... I am the Endless Rift?" he whispered, his tone filled with confusion and bewilderment.

As Feng Jing tried to comprehend all this, the image's form twisted violently and expanded rapidly, like a giant spider web, obscuring everything in his field of vision. Feng Jing felt an unprecedented pressure, as if the matter of countless universes were pressing down upon his consciousness. His mind was consumed by the force, becoming distorted and blurred.

Suddenly, Feng Jing beheld a strange vision: a vast wheel, suspended in the void. Each side of the wheel represented a different world, a different destiny. These destinies intertwined, as if all time, space, and matter were controlled by this wheel. Standing at the center of the wheel, Feng Jing felt a force beyond all cognition calling him—an irresistible pull that left him unable to escape, unable to choose.

"What is this?" Feng Jing's voice was filled with doubt. "Is this the shackles of fate, or the restart of the universe?"

"This is your true origin." The illusory voice echoed again, tinged with indifference and despair. "You never truly existed. You are merely an illusion in this universe. You are a pawn in fate's merry-go-round. All the pain and struggle is to trap you in this endless cycle."

Feng Jing's consciousness was violently fluctuating, as if being torn apart from the inside out by a tremendous force. The source of that force was unidentifiable, coming from both the fear and desire deep within his heart, and from the deepest part of the universe - an unknown dimension.

"You will never be able to escape," the illusion said. "Every self-destruction, every rebirth, is to make you feel the call of the abyss. You are no longer Feng Jing. You are an 'inescapable' existence, an eternal 'loop.'"

Feng Jing suddenly opened his eyes and found himself back in the wasteland. The darkness around him was still profound, but at this moment, he no longer felt any fear or anxiety. Instead, he felt an inexplicable sense of relief, as if he was no longer an individual, but the gathering of all existence.

Suddenly, a strange vibration echoed from the other side of the wasteland. Feng Jing turned and saw a gigantic eye emerge from the darkness. Within its pupil, countless universes, countless lives, and countless Feng Jings were reflected. The eye's existence was not a physical entity, but a spiritual symbol—it represented endless observation and scrutiny, the silent judgment of the entire universe upon Feng Jing.

"What on earth are you?" Feng Jing felt an unprecedented sense of oppression, and his tone was filled with despair and confusion. "What on earth am I?"

The eye didn't answer directly, but instead conveyed an indescribable feeling: Feng Jing, as a part of existence, was no longer what he once was. He was no longer just an individual, no longer just a component of the universe. He had become an incomprehensible "nothingness," an existence without boundaries to the universe or the void.

"You are 'the truth in the cracks.'" The Eyes' voice finally spoke, deep as thunder. "You are not a star in the universe, nor are you the consciousness of an individual. You are merely the crack between all life and destiny, an existence that the universe itself cannot explain."

Feng Jing fell silent after hearing this. His consciousness expanded again, becoming increasingly unpredictable, as if swallowed by all the cracks and light. He could no longer distinguish between reality and illusion, and no longer knew whether he belonged to this universe, to that void, or to some unreachable dimension.

He understood: true existence has never had boundaries. All destinies, all lives, all destruction and rebirth ultimately converge into this point - an inescapable "crack". It does not exist, yet it happens all the time.
