Chapter 39 Pollalid

Chapter 39 Pollalid

Maria Elisa reassured Lu Renkui.

Maria Elisa, having regained control of her body, opened her eyes and the first thing she saw was Ancadis standing in front of her.

Maria Elisa blinked, then smiled at Ankadis and asked, "What's wrong, Anx?"

"It's nothing, I just noticed you've been looking at this planet for quite a while now. Would you like to take a look at something else?" Seeing that Maria Elisa had returned to her familiar self, Ankadis attributed her unusual behavior today to being frightened and not yet recovered.

Ankadis patted Maria Elisa's head, pondering how long it would take him to reach or even surpass the financial power of that old man, Hewlett-Packard. He thought he would teach that Elisa a lesson when the time came.

Maria Elisa flipped through the contract that Lu Renkui had casually picked up and saw clearly that this was an agricultural planet that produced a variety of grains.

Maria Elisa was very satisfied with Lu Renkui's choice. She stood up happily, hugged Ankadis, and then ran to Ankadis's table to continue rummaging through the papers: "I just need one more industrial planet and one more mining planet, Ankes. And I know there can't possibly be only these kinds of planets. I want to look at other planets, planets other than these."

“You know what the rest of the planets are like, Lisa,” Ancadis said, snapping out of Maria Elisa’s embrace. “The other planets are just impoverished and worthless planets that the old man bought to squeeze more money out of charities. I’m ready to sell them to someone else.”

“Please, Anx,” Maria Elisa tried to make her voice sound like a pitiful puppy. “I want to find out how they live in such harsh conditions. We had a course about impoverished planets and garbage planets before, Anx, I want to go and see.”

“Liasa…” Ankadis felt he had to refuse Maria Elisa’s request—who knew how much shady business that old man and his bunch of probably half-brothers had been doing on those garbage and impoverished planets? What if Liasa got scared?

"Please, brother, please, say yes to Lisa." At this moment, Maria Elisa is like a puppy, wagging her tail and looking at you obediently, hoping that you will grant her a small request that is not too unreasonable.

“…Okay.” Ankadis gave up struggling after three seconds—they were just three hundred illegitimate children; he could just kill them before they could harm Lisa.

However, in order to ensure Maria Elisa's safety to the greatest extent possible, Ankadis selected a few small and relatively safe planets from among the impoverished and garbage planets for Maria Elisa to choose from.

Maria Elisa knew that Ancadis had already made concessions, so she decided to stop while she was ahead and chose the impoverished planet Kladas and the garbage planet Dabrer.

After choosing a planet, Maria Elisa said she had to go back to school for an exam, and Ancadis said he would personally take Maria Elisa there.

Maria Elisa opened the door, and some of the illegitimate children who were still in the villa rushed over when they saw that it wasn't Ancadis who opened the door, trying to play the victim in front of Maria Elisa and see if they could arouse the sympathy of their adopted daughter.

But they were quickly frightened by Ancadis's grim face standing behind Maria Elisa. The bastard son who was closest to him saw Ancadis pull a gun out of his pocket, as if if he took another step forward, the gun would be pointed at him and shot in the head.

Seeing that they had all stepped back, Ancadis put his gun away and then escorted Maria Elisa onto the spaceship.

“I still have work to do. You go back to school first, and contact me after the exams. I’ll come pick you up.” Ankadis rambled on and on. Whenever Maria Elisa encountered this situation, she felt that Ankadis probably still treated her like that ignorant little child.

The spaceship gradually headed towards the Kinkles Military Academy. During the flight, Maria Elisa took out the planetary contracts. In addition to the relevant laws and regulations, the contracts also contained detailed descriptions of the planets.

After looking at the contract for a while, Maria Elisa got a little tired, so she closed her eyes and entered her own consciousness space to talk with Lu Renkui and the system WQBYRZM.

"Who are you looking for? What do they look like? What's their name?" Maria Elisa remembered that Lu Renkui and the system WQBYRZM's current mission was to help someone find a partner. To thank them for saving her from death, Maria Elisa decided to do her best to help them.

Upon hearing Maria Elisa's question, the system WQBYRZM realized that Maria Elisa wanted to help them find someone to complete the mission. So it pulled up a photo of the protagonist, Pollard, from the original text and the description in the original text, saying, "He looks like this, including some descriptions of his appearance in other situations. I've put them all here."

"Is this guy... an Omega?" Maria Elisa asked, resting her chin on her hands and looking at the protagonist, Pollarid's face, which perfectly embodied all the stereotypes of an Omega.

“Yes, he has a special constitution,” said System WQBYRZM. “His constitution is beneficial to the bodies of A, and his pheromones make all A have a certain amount of patience with him.”

"Really? What's his family background like?"

“He comes from the planet of poverty,” Lu Renkui replied.

“Oh, then he must be in quite a danger, right? His excellent physique and less-than-ideal family background make him an easy target for people who might try to take him away.” Maria Elisa immediately guessed the direction of the plot.

“Yes, but there’s nothing we can do about it,” said the system WQBYRZM.

Maria Elisa seemed to fall into deep thought. Then she left her own consciousness space, opened her eyes, and the gates of Kinkles Military Academy appeared before her.

As soon as Maria Elisa stepped off the spaceship, she saw Alina Yi waiting for her at the school gate.

Maria Elisa hurried over and gave Alina a big hug: "Lily, wait for me here."

"Because I was worried about you." Alina hugged Maria and Elisa back.

"Let's go now. Tomorrow is the graduation exam, so hurry back and study," Maria Elisa said.

The two girls chatted the whole way, mainly Alina talking about what happened at school after they went to the hospital.

"After the person who attacked us was arrested and imprisoned, the police investigated everyone who had been in contact with him, and then they only found one person, an O from a poor planet." Alina tried hard to recall all the details that her classmates at school had told her about the incident.

"The police were originally going to take the O away for questioning, but an A came over and said that the O had been with him all day, so he had nothing to do with this matter."

"At the same time, several A's said that the O had been with them all week, each taking up one day, so the O had no time to look for the person who attacked us that day."

"In addition, those A's were all quite wealthy, and they each contributed some money to the police so that they wouldn't take the O away."

“Hmm, so it seems that the O doesn’t really have much to do with this matter,” Maria Elisa said, while in her mind she began to think about how to bypass the As and meet the O—after all, the O was more in line with the requirements of the two outsiders.

Before Maria Elisa could figure out a way to see the O, the O came looking for her.

Looking at the boy in front of her, who was probably about the same height as Alina, Maria Elisa guessed that this must be the target that the two outsiders were looking for.

"Excuse me, who are you...?" Maria Elisa asked.

“Polaligate. Gate,” the big-eyed boy answered, head bowed.

Maria Elisa was certain that these were the individuals from the other worlds who were looking for their mission.

"What do you need me for?" Maria Elisa sat in a chair, propping her head up as she looked at Pollard Men, who was standing.

“I…I hope I can apologize to you,” Pollalid said, sounding slightly embarrassed.

"Apologize? Why are you apologizing?" Maria Elisa found it somewhat amusing. She wondered why this person would apologize for something completely unrelated.

“Uh, because I think I might…should…need…” Pollalid began to stammer an explanation.

“Okay, I understand, no need to explain.” Maria Elisa, still resting her chin on her left hand and twirling a pen in her right, smiled at Pollalid and said, “Would you be interested in getting to know me?”

Upon hearing this, Pollalid blushed for some reason, then covered his face and ran out.

Maria Elisa watched as Pollard suddenly ran out, then looked at the Alphas in the classroom, who were intoxicated by the pheromones Pollard left in the air. She began to wonder what it was about Pollard that made so many people want him.

Soon after this incident, the exams were scheduled, and after several days of exams, Maria Elisa saw Pollard again.

Unlike before the exam, Maria Elisa was accompanied by Alina.

Maria Elisa looked at Pollard, who was standing behind the wall, speechless, thinking he had disguised himself very well. Alina looked at Pollard nervously, thinking that he had some other intentions towards Maria Elisa.

"What do you want?" Maria Elisa could already hear the two people from other worlds in her mind thinking about what Pollard was up to and planning their escape route.

Because besides Pollalid, there were two other A's watching them from behind the wall.

When Pollalid realized he had been discovered, his face turned a strange red.

Maria Elisa noticed that the two A's were looking at her hostilely.

“Um, it’s that one…” Pollalid walked up to Maria Elisa with a flushed face, as if he wanted to say something.

Before Pollalid could speak, a hand wearing a black glove and holding a bottle of mountain lemonade was placed between Maria Elisa and Pollalid.

"Liasa, who are they?" Ankadis stood smiling behind Maria Elisa and Alina, but when he saw that Maria Elisa wasn't looking at him, his expression immediately fell when he looked at the three people.

Maria Elisa took the mountain lemonade and introduced Pollard to Ancadis. She didn't know the other two A's, so she just told Ancadis that they were classmates.

Ankadis gave a fake smile, greeted the three people opposite him, and then pushed Maria and Elisa, intending to leave.

"Wait, wait, wait a minute." Pollalid was a little anxious and stepped forward to grab Maria Elisa's hem.

Then Pollalid met Ancadis's murderous gaze.

Maria Elisa knew what Ancadis was looking at her, so she took a step forward to shield Poliald from some of Ancadis's gaze and asked Poliald with a smile, "What's wrong?"

"I... I'd like to get to know you," Pollalid finally said, finally uttering the words that had been buried in his heart for so many days.

Alina looked somewhat dazed, and Ankadis's murderous urge reached its peak.

The two A's hostility towards each other were even more undisguised.

Maria Elisa raised an eyebrow, pretending not to see any of their reactions, and smiled as she extended her personal terminal: "Okay, let's exchange contact information then."

Pollalid seemed pleased, and the two exchanged contact information happily.

"We unexpectedly and smoothly obtained a way to communicate with the protagonist." Looking at this operation, Lu Renkui couldn't help but admire Maria Elisa's resourcefulness.

The system WQBYRZM matched the other two A's with the third and fourth male characters in the storyline and quickly saved their faces so that they could be recognized immediately if they met them later.

The two groups parted ways. Maria Elisa learned from Elina that the two men next to Pollard were also from the military academy. The one with brown hair was called Capo, and the one with brown hair was called Belikara.

“These two are practically always fighting whenever they meet, and they’ve been sent here to be used as physical simulations several times,” Alina said. “This is the first time they’ve stood together behind someone and gotten along so peacefully.”

Maria Elisa smiled and said, "I guess she's trying to win over the person she likes."

"The person you like... is Pollarid!" Alina was somewhat surprised. "Both of them come from well-off families and have probably seen all sorts of people, so why would you be interested in Pollarid?"

"We two Bs probably can't really talk about A's stuff, since they choose people based on pheromones," Maria Elisa said with a grin, looking at Ankadis, who was an A. "I wonder what kind of Omega Anxie would like?"

“Lisa, it’s a bit too early for you to talk to me about this now,” Ankadis said, sounding somewhat helpless.

Thanks for watching! I'll keep up the good work!
