Chapter 121 The Enraged Hero
Chapter 121 The Enraged Hero
It was almost dark when Enoch and his companion arrived at Austin College.
Fortunately, there were still people on duty at the academy. I asked who was still in the academy.
The person on duty saw that the visitor was a hero and told her directly that there was no one left in the academy now, but Academician Candice was still there.
Enoch's eyes lit up. Wasn't Candice a top-notch healer?
Enoch was also a student at Austin College, and he had some connection with the college. He was very familiar with the college, and the two soon arrived at Candice's courtyard.
Candice was eating when she saw who had come in, and she was a little surprised.
"Enoch, what brings you here!"
Enoch was taken aback for a second when he saw how young Candice was, but time was of the essence, so he quickly explained what had happened and asked her for help.
Candice understood the whole story and was somewhat angry.
"I never imagined the church would be so ruthless, actually trying to frame Anna!"
"Enoch, I doubt I can help you with your request. I haven't used magic in a long time, and I'm quite rusty!"
Upon hearing this, Enoch assumed she was unwilling to help and immediately knelt down.
"Please help me! My sister is my only family now!"
Candice quickly helped him up.
"What are you doing, child? Get up! I'll definitely help you!"
"Although I can't do it, there is someone who can definitely save your sister!"
Seeing that Enoch's emotions had stabilized somewhat, Candice continued:
"Anna's healing magic is very powerful. Call her over; she'll definitely be able to save your sister!"
"But Miss Diana isn't here, how can we inform her!"
Candice didn't reply. She took off a bracelet from her wrist. In the center of the bracelet was a white crystal containing a spatial coordinate magic. Diana could sense it by injecting magic into it.
After the incident involving Adolf delivering messages via doves, Diana prepared such a bracelet for each of them to pass on messages and to be able to arrive in time if they encountered danger.
Candice infused her magic into the white crystal.
Inside the Oliver City Lord's Manor, Diana and her entourage were having a meal.
Diana felt one of the crystals on her wrist vibrate, stopped what she was doing, glanced at it, and saw that it was the one representing Candice vibrating. She stood up.
"Aunt Candice seems to need to see me. You guys eat first, I'll be right back!"
The group said they would wait for her to come back.
Diana took a chicken leg and glared at Little White next to her.
"Little White! You're not allowed to eat my portion! Do you hear me?!"
Little White chattered on and on, then turned its head away.
"You're exactly the kind of fox I am! How have I wronged you!"
Seeing Diana arguing with Xiaobai again, everyone couldn't help but laugh.
"Anna! You should go quickly! Candice might have something important to say!"
Adolf urged.
"Okay, okay, I'll be right there!"
As she left, Diana glared at Little White again, her expression full of warning.
Seeing that Diana had indeed left, Xiaobai grinned and casually picked up a piece of steak from Diana's plate. The others exchanged glances but did not stop him; they were happy to watch the two, a human and a fox, arguing.
In Candice's yard, Diana took a bite of a chicken leg.
"Aunt Candice, what do you want from me?"
Seeing the people around her, she sensed that something was off, but she still swallowed the chicken leg in her mouth.
Enoch shuddered when he saw Diana; the scene from earlier that day kept replaying in his mind.
"Miss Diana! Please help me!"
Enoch bowed.
Diana was completely confused, so Candice explained the reason.
Diana ate the chicken leg in one bite, looking indignant.
"How could there be such a bad person? It's awful! Enoch, don't worry, I'll help you save your sister!"
Enoch's vision blurred. 'How could I have doubted Miss Diana! I'm such an idiot!'
"Do you know where your sister is? We need to go save her!"
Enoch was moved again by Diana's eagerness, and then he looked at Claire.
"Claire, please!"
Claire nodded and closed her eyes to sense her surroundings.
"let's go!"
Diana interrupted the two who were about to leave.
"Walking there is too slow!"
As she spoke, she snapped her fingers, and a burst of blue light shone from the three of them. A whirlwind rose beneath their feet, and the three of them soared into the sky.
Two screams echoed from the sky. The incident happened so suddenly, and neither of them had ever flown before; their first time flying at this speed completely overwhelmed them.
Candice looked up at the three people who had turned into tiny dots and shook her head helplessly.
The three stopped in mid-air; Enoch and the other two had their hair and clothes somewhat disheveled.
Diana smacked her forehead.
"Sorry, it's a habit, I was a bit fast. Are you two alright?"
"So, which way should we go?"
The two men clutched their hearts. 'You didn't even know where you were and just rushed in?'
Claire took a breath and pointed in a direction.
"Miss Diana, please fly slower, I'm getting a little airsick~"
Diana glanced in that direction and gave an OK sign.
"no problem!"
Then the three disappeared into the air, reappearing a kilometer away. Diana immediately used teleportation magic.
The two stunned people felt a slight dizziness, and then they found themselves in the distance.
Claire noticed that Diana was looking at her, understood her thoughts, and pointed in a direction with a trembling hand.
After this happened many times, Claire was bent over in a corner of an alley in the inner city, vomiting uncontrollably. He swore he never wanted to experience teleportation magic again.
At the alley's exit, the three of them gazed at a house in the distance.
Claire was a little pale as he pointed to the house.
“Enoch, your sister is down below that house.”
Enoch wasn't greatly affected; his eyes seemed to blaze with anger as he stared at the house in the distance.
Diana used her detection skill.
"There are eight people inside the house and only one underground. Now is the perfect time to strike!"
"Miss Diana, you don't need to intervene later. This is my own personal matter. Just go and save my sister first!"
Diana nodded.
"Alright, let's set off now!"
Claire instantly retreated to a distance, seemingly into the shadows.
"I don't want to teleport anymore. We agreed beforehand that I would only lead the way!"
The two exchanged a glance, ignored Claire, and rushed straight towards the house.
Diana went straight to the basement, a place she knew very well.
Enoch followed closely behind, slashing down everyone he encountered with a single sword strike. He was incredibly fast, and in a short time, he had slaughtered all eight people in the house. Perhaps to vent his anger, he was extremely cruel, his clothes covered in blood.
Diana forcefully broke open the mechanism of the secret room, and the two rushed down.
In the cramped basement, a girl covered in blood lay on the floor, her weak breathing suggesting she might die at any moment.
"Isia!"
Enoch called out, but the girl did not respond.
Diana approached the girl, and two green magic circles appeared simultaneously, enveloping her entire body in a glowing green light.
"She can't hear! Her five senses and limbs are all useless."
Upon hearing this, Enoch knelt before the girl and wept bitterly.
Enoch's eyes widened in horror at the thought of his sister being subjected to such cruel torture.
"I will kill all these beasts!"
